This is a nice composition, I like how you've framed this little fellow with the leaf in the bottom left corner, works really well. I imported this picture into photoshop and played around with it a little- I think that it needs just a bit more contrast and a little bit of saturation to bring out the beautiful colors in the wings and also to strengthen the flowers. The image is just a bit grey as it is right now. It doesn't take much to liven it up a bit, maybe you can play around with the curves in PS to get it to stand out just a bit more. I think it's important to have the insect/flowers stand out because the background is rather grey here, so it is good to have the foreground be colorful and a bit brighter. Hope this helps!
