Not too many technical details. I've only been taking pictures for a month, so I have a beginners camera (and like it a lot). I do know that is is 1/30 sec @f/5.6 after that you're on your own.

Simple, but with great textures, shapes, and colors. Nice work.

Nice picture. Strong design and colors. My only nitpick is to crop it just a little higher at the bottom and eliminate that "line" between the bricks (it clashes somewhat with the white border of the frame).

Nice abstract. Strong colors. My only suggestion would be to frame it such that the lamp does not merge with the edge of the door.

Great colors. ---There`s no such thing as a "beginner" camera. I`ve seen more great photos from point and shoot camera`s than I have from high end professional SLR`s. ---- Just noticed the title too. Original.

If you have only been taking picture for a month and you come up with this kind of result, really, hats off to you, and I forsee the future looks bright for you...:-) I really like this. The colors are quite unbelievable and the composition is pretty good as well. Just a minor possible improvement would have been, imo, to move slightly to the right, by a foot or 2, so that the edge of the lamp would no longer touch the corner of the door. After that, you may consider cropping just a tad on the left in order to minimize the amount of grey wall a little, which would recenter the viewer's attention on lamp and door, which are the main attraction points in this composition.

But well, even as it is, it surely works very well already. Congrats, and looking forward to your next uploads.

Hi...Raymond, You seem to have very good eyes for design and its compositional elements. Please keep up with good works to refine your skills and sharpen your talent. Regards.
