matman1975 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Impala fawns are extremely attached to their mothers cause they face lethal danger from the very first minute of their life. Cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals, even baboons will try to catch an easy meal if they see an impala fawn. Their natural defence is the lack of smell during the early stages of their lives and of course their devoted mothers who are always alerted for potential danger. This is a typical mother-baby interaction captured in Samburu N.R. (Kenya). Thank you for your comment Link to comment
