jerrymat 5 Posted November 20, 2008 Her expression and your exposure are fine, yet the little girl loses some of her softness by the contrast of the lighting being so harsh. See the dark shadows in her eye-sockets and lower face. A reflector to fill the shadows or flash fill would help. Exactly why the picture is framed in such a format I don't know - did you want it to fill a modern TV screen? For a print, as well as for the computer screen a vertical crop would work much better - and that would eliminate the strange pink handle at the far left. Some refer to the vertical crop as "portrait mode" and this is a portrait. Link to comment
