rogerleekam 0 Posted November 23, 2008 Attention-grabbing. Excellent color and the radial blur takes the eye to where it belongs. I like it! Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted November 24, 2008 Great use of that lens baby Jeff. You're one of the few I've seen that uses it effectively. Kirk Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted November 24, 2008 I was looking again and come to think that these heads are cought in attempt on laughing, I mean, like they are laughing or something ... Guffy dudes Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted November 24, 2008 Beautiful portrait of a lovely girl, Jeff. I like the sensuality in her expression. Excellent photograph and colors! Regards! Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted November 28, 2008 looks like vaudou has diffused up north...I like the colors and the kind of zoom blurr that go so well for this particular image...sometimes I feel it's a gadget but here it suits the mood very well.... Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted November 29, 2008 Paula: Boo. Thanks for stopping by. Fred: Exactly. Now, one more time with feeling. Roger: Thank you much. Kirk: It can be a little gimmicky, but it makes for some fun shots. Hope your T-day was enjoyable. Ilia: Of course, they're laughing. They were looking at me. David O: Um....Were you commenting on THIS photo? Just curious. Laurent: The background was a little odd, so the Lensbaby helped to eradicate some of the distracting elements. Thanks. Link to comment

jbm 0 Posted December 5, 2008 Lensbaby shot? I have been toying with my own lensbaby a bit again. Fun, love the color palette. Lately I have been pushing my own photos toward monster color or else desaturating them...no middle ground in the last few weeks. I should post more. Did you shift the palette or just the saturation? mark_starr 0 Posted January 9, 2009 This is a real attention getter at the top of your portfolio - I hate to say this but this image would make a pretty reasonable portrait of me. In fact, my wife thought it was me... Great shot, and excellent use of the colors within it. I haven't been to your site in a while, and as always, there were many new images to enjoy- great shooting to you this new year, and I hope these guys leave you alone- Mark Link to comment
markus_latva_aho 0 Posted January 9, 2009 This image truly pops out from your portfolio! It has very nice strong colors and that "zoom-in-blur" is spot on. Very decorative and horrific. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted January 10, 2009 Jay: I boosted the color just a bit. The original scene was quite colorful, shot with an incandescent lamp lighting the way. Mark: Well, then, you've got to post a self-portrait so the world can compare. I'm drawn to this Mexican style of folk art, after spending years in San Antonio. Markus: Thank you. This was an early-morning, store window, no flash capture, taken in the cold with a Lensbaby. Link to comment
