michaelging 1 Posted January 14, 2009 This is a very nice photo Katinka , you have a full range of tones and the leading lines of the dock bring your eye from the darkness of the foreground to the lightness of the lake , well done. Thank you for the kind comment on my photo as well, keep photographing and I will keep checking back. Link to comment
katinkagoffin 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Thank you for the insightful comment, Michael. I appreciate you taking time to have a look. And, by the way, your picture is truly amazing. It is currently (and probably will be for quite a while) one of my favorite photos. It has so much to say- Well, if I continue, I'll rant on about it for another hour. I look forward to getting a good look of your profile, I haven't gotten around to it yet. Best regards. Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 2 Posted April 6, 2009 Images with this theme makes a powerful link to the subconscious - the idea of setting forth into a unknown future without even the support of a vehicle - you just have to run, jump and swim (naked in your imagination) to some distant but hopefully better place which you can vaguely discern in the distance. Your pic works especially well because of the ugliness & darkness of the jetty, just catching the sun at the end, and the inviting, bright (but slightly scary) natural landscape ahead. Altogether a great shot. Best wishes, Jonathan Link to comment
