Fantastically appropriate use of Photoshop!

No Photoshop Ian, its a 90mm tilt lens (tilted about half way) Its far better than the selective gradient blur technique which nver looks that great.

I love tilt lens shots - much more effective than using photoshop as you say David. There something about them that makes the scenes look as though they're in miniature, but I'm not quite shure why!

Its your mind. We associate limited depth of field with seeing objects that are very small, like a macro lens portrays. The selective focus, when trained on the right subject, gives the impression everything is very small, which is perfect for illustrating the ant like comparison we see in modern cities.

No way! Kudos to you then!

 

(and a new pair of specs for me I think.)
