naturegirl99 0 Posted November 20, 2008 If only...you had placed the shack anywhere except at dead centre of the image. That, and a little brightening, would make this image shine, in my opinion. Link to comment
rajeevthomas 1 Posted November 20, 2008 Beautiful place and shot Per. Great reflection and what peaceful place!!! I think a shot a bit closer the hut will also emphasize the place and patterns..regards, Rajeev Link to comment

llgarcia 1 Posted November 21, 2008 A beautiful scenery. I do agree with Nancy, Rajeev & Thomas though. Also IMHO, you can level the line formed by the yellow grasses and clone the little bit of sky on the upper right corner of the image. Still, a nice shot. Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted November 21, 2008 Guess I'm different, like your image just the way it is. My eye is continually drawn & stays on the old building.while observing the trees & their reflections peripherally. It is a very quiet & relaxing scene taken late in the day. Regards-Ross Link to comment
stp 6 Posted November 21, 2008 Great subject for an interesting photo. I'm in agreement with the apparent majority that placing the cabin off-center would help considerably. It's hard to tell how to best do that without knowing what lies beyond the current borders. I would definitely get rid of the small patch of blue in the upper right corner. I'd probably choose to zoom in somewhat, eliminate about 40% of the reflection (the patterns are most striking in the trees rather than in their reflections), and then pan either left or right depending on where the most striking tree pattern is to be found. I want to go right because of the yellow grass, but I hesitate because of the sky. I like your current exposure; the dark water is great, and the overall exposure/mood fits the image. Link to comment

yttergaarden. 0 Posted November 22, 2008 It is a great capture you got there, nice muted colours, lovely reflections and this special mood. If there should be something who could improove this a bit, maby you could have croped it a bit so the cabbin where not so centered in the photograph. Thats just maby :-) Regards LKV. Link to comment
