isaak 0 Posted February 5, 2001 Just went through this album. All the pics are wonderfully taken. Thanks for being an inspiration. Link to comment
rich815 0 Posted March 2, 2001 Tony, another excellent shot. However, and I am only partially kidding here, why does the front silhouette look like a monkey to me? Does this guy go fishing with his monkey? Is it just me or does anyone else see this? All kidding aside, an excellent photo. Link to comment

samscholes 0 Posted May 18, 2001 Beautiful photograph. The golden sky reflected into the strong blue of the lake is very nice. The of the people in the boat also add some interesting elements. Link to comment
joe_jackson1 0 Posted June 2, 2001 This picture looks as if it had 2 Horizons. One being slightly under the real Horizon, where blue fades into orange/yellow and the other being the real Horizon(at least I think it is:). If you'd cut off the upper half of the picture, it would look alright as well, because of the fake Horizon. The only thing I don't like about this picture is that it is angled by about .6 degrees. It doesn't sound much, but it is apparent when you look at the picture. Link to comment
terrence_kent 0 Posted June 12, 2001 not a comment about this photo, but i would like to recommend all take a look into the "flowers" folder of Bill Storage's work (the guy who did the sanfransisco night-boat scene POW.) It may just bowl you over:) Link to comment
juanio 0 Posted June 18, 2001 one of the best sunset/sunrise pictures ever seen in photo.net Link to comment
nick_s 0 Posted June 20, 2001 Like all of your photos, just beautiful Tony. With regards to the monkey, I'm not even sure that is a person (or monkey, or any other living creature). Admittedly, it sure looks as if it might be, but I think it is a bit of an illusion created by the heavy shadows. Any comment Tony? Link to comment

mg 0 Posted February 20, 2002 Where do people find the guts to rate this image 6 / 6 and to say this is the best image in this folder ?!?!? Photo.Net is the only place on Earth where people dare to show so much ignorance ! It is in my opinion too the best shot in this folder, but what joke is this 6 / 6 ! Even Cartier-Bresson wouldn't have rated this so low ! Link to comment
shashwat_nagpal 0 Posted June 25, 2002 Tony, seriously.. it's a dream captured in camera... bravo!! Link to comment
anthony kohn 0 Posted March 6, 2003 This is sensational. The point of focus in the foreground, against a truly beautiful scenery. Add a few ounces of photographic talent (is that understated enough) and this one is really inspiring. Link to comment
darrellwhittle 0 Posted March 15, 2003 For me, the best picture in an excellent folder. Link to comment
tony_dummett 0 Posted February 28, 2004 It's the first print you see when you walk into my house - or the last when you're leaving. It's grown on me over the past few years. Every cloud has a silver lining... the exposure meter wasn't working properly on the camera and the shot was over-exposed by a stop and a half or so. This washes out the highlights (which, looking at it, isn't such a bad thing after all) and leaves tantalising detail around the peripheries of the man and his son. I never would have thought of doing this deliberately, especially with transparency film. It just goes to show: you can always learn something new. Much of this area has now "gone ahead". This means: condos, supermarkets, "Eco Cabins", overpriced resorts and spiraling real estate prices. You can still find a ten kilometre beach with no footprints upon it (the New South Wales coast is replete with them), but you have to drive, and then walk a little further to do so. Ah... progress.
