IMHO, the castle get lost in your image, specially because the bridge weights too much. I would suggest to concentrate on the castle itself dominating the river. I've cropped the imahe keeping your format.What do you think? Would you bear with my intrusion into your way of doing things? I apologize, in any case.I have to tell you that my son disagrees with my crop and thinks that the deep blue of the river plus the framing of the shadows in your composition are nuch better. barry_needle 0 Posted August 14, 2006 Hi Alberto, Thank you for your crop suggestion and valid comments. However the shot was intended to be a portrait of the town of Chepstow, deliberately incorporating the town's three main features (ie. the castle, the river and the bridge) and on that basis the shot worked. It was subsequently published my book on the River Wye. Link to comment
