Nice shot and beautiful road I am not convinced to such narrow depth of field in this case I think it will work better with a person/cyclist etc. Maybe you have such version too? Regards

I think this is far superior to the other Red Mile. The shallow depth of field is more effective here, as is the overall composition. Still good that you didn't put the road dead-center. Nicely done.

Beautiful image that covers all the elements of a great shot......the fall colors are so welcoming....I'm so tired of remnants of old snow and the dirt that is left behind....great perspective & DOF ALSO...!

Hey Martin, nice shot! I love the color palette. I teach digital photography here in Florida and I was wondering if you would share you DOF technique. Wether it is "digital-darkroom" or in camera, or perhaps a combination. Depth of field and focus is a somewhat mysterious effect and we often discuss its importance and effectiveness in selecting emphasis within a photo. You apply this very well and consistently in your work. Thanks, Brian Becker.

The choice of DOF (not to mention plane of focus) seems a bit arbitrary on this one, but I like it anyway.
