kent noble 0 Posted November 4, 2008 The DC-6 flew him to Florida when he was a boy. That trip lives on his skin. And somewhere inside too. Link to comment
hjalmarsen1 0 Posted November 4, 2008 I like this kind of portraits, it's much more than just a picture of a person. When you make the person come out of the picture to meet you, you've made a portrait. The tattoos, the pens in his shirt and the wallpaper are all great, so is the close cropping. Great colours! j_sevigny 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Kent, To me, this is by far the best photograph in your portfolio. With it, you transcend the relatively easy themes (and I don't want to be critical, but well-worn themes) of bikers and tattoos and approach something far more narrative. What I'm trying to say is that you've got dozens of photos of the biker bachanalia, but taken together, they don't come close to telling the story that this shot tells. If I were you, I'd make photographs like this one -- along with the beautiful words that accompany it -- my objective. Absolutely fantastic. John Link to comment
