This is quite a funny image. I see a conflict here between the commercial world of consumerism and the natural world, one oblivious to the other.

It is weird huh? I am traveling through South Korea right now and I see zillions of this kind of containers near restaurants supermarkets etc...Some contain types of seafood I've never seen before. I wonder if they "know" they are in a game of russian roulette...

On the other hand, Koreans don't waste a thing. If it's not eaten ( dead or alive) it is dried or becomes an ingredient in a large dish with rice and vegetables or the main ingredient in a broth or soup.

Thanks for your visit!

Funny, I see how the shapes of the fish are related to the swags on the Coca-Cola logo, and how the logo is in the same position in its white tank as the fish are in their green one. It's so foursquare and rectilinear overall that the slight tilt in the logo is somewhat irritating--perhaps you insist that it's actually organic, like the fish. ;-)

Hahhaha, I am afraid my motives to present this photo the way I did were a lot less thought full than you suggest..The reason I took the photo in the first place was because it is a scene so uncommon to me as a Dutchie.. The only fish tanks I see in restaurants I tend to visit in Holland are there for decoration.

Koreans are a lot more practical. Most of their decoration material (if any) is edible as well.

I think they used to store and cool lemonade cans in this container but one day decided there was more money to make in storing and selling life fish.

Thats what the logo represented to me.. commercial value.

You got me on it being tilted a bit.. I had not noticed. I like your explanation for it though!

Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment Charles, I appreciate!
