Santtu: I've been expecting to seeing some images from my hometown but only one i have seen on PN posted by other peoples. What i browsed through your folder i presume that you live in Imatra. I have been on Imatra shooting some shots from the local church (I have this long term project for them). But never captured that magical shot from that place. Not saying that it's an bad looking church... it's just hard to deal with. If you catch my bad sense of humor ;D

Depends on which church you talk about :) One of them is difficult (church of three crosses), one of them is bit plain (Imatrankosken kirkko) and on is bit common design wise (Tainionkosken kirkko). The memorial in my folder is located at Imatrankosken Hautausmaa.

 

I was referring to Tainiokoski church, have been on all of them but particulary the Tainiokoski stayed on my mind, because there is some odd potential but still... Weather isn't always the right. Have to check the cemetary next time i drive by there.

Very dramatic, really like this.

The extreme difference between the really extreme difference in contrast in the clouds may be a bit much but its still a very dramatic image.
