Although there are few finer locations to photograph at sunrise this shot was taken at sunset with mist regenerating itself as it lifts off dew laden hills behind. The emerald green tree apparently unaffected by autumns march towards winter stands out beautifully in a sea of orange grasses with purple tinged mountains behind.NEW!! An array of autumnal colour with a backdrop of indigo mountains, but if

it wasn't for that tree stubbornly refusing to change colour I'm not sure

the shot would be so successful.

Nice shot! As you say..the tree is the essence...with the perfect placement and the green color anchoring the whole image. My only suggestion would be to crop the darkest top of the sky...wich command a bit too much attention.
