RickDB 10 Posted October 28, 2008 The Charles Bridge is a great way to get from one side of Vltava River to the other and at the same time view a wonderful collection of centuries old religious scultpures. Here is a detail of Ferdinand Brokof's Trinitarian Order Of Mendicants sculpted in 1714. At the top of the monument are St. John de Matha, St. Felix de Valois, and the Blessed Ivan - founders of order which set out to collect ransom money for the release of Christians enslaved by the infidels, shown in the prison cell at the base. RickDB 10 Posted November 6, 2008 ...and taking the time to comment. An intriguing and unusual monument. Keith, this was not a crop, but a separate close up. One CS3 trick that really makes drab stonework pop is a colour burn overlay at 10-20% opacity. Cheers! RickDB Link to comment
