So nice to see this beautiful scene through your eyes. I'm so happy for you. What a great place to visit. Your images to it justice. Congratulations.

Kent, thank you for your nice comment. Although I had seen this place hundreds of times on pictures, my pleasure and amazement were absolutely intact when I got there. Same feeling I had when I saw Monument Valley in Utah... that same impression of watching one of nature's 7 wonders.

Hello Axel !... what is "sossusvlei" ? The backdrop... are these sand dunes?Looked like

a flag or a prop of a kind. Perspective is good.

Hi Sally! Thank you for your comments on my Namibia photo series. Sossusvlei is a place in the middle of the Namib Desert where a (now mostly dry) river opened a kind of valley through the dunes, hence allowing access into the heart of the desert. Sand dunes over there are said to be the highest in the world, one of them is nearing 300 meters actually.

This is a wonderful composition. I love the contrasting triangles in the upper part and how you anchored the scene with the lone tree in the lower right nodal point. This is an outstanding photo. my only nit would be that i would have liked to see a bit more contrast and definition in the lower area. BUT this is really minor, i'm giving you a 7/7 on this. Great work. Regards - michel
