donmccrae 0 Posted October 25, 2008 ...this is striking and really very good. Maybe the green is a bit too green? 7:6. Well done! Cheers, Don. Link to comment

stp 6 Posted October 28, 2008 The green seems quite bright and quite green considering it is sitting under a very dark cloud and the sun is on the distant horizon. I'm puzzled as to where all the light came from, and also how the reflection of the clouds came to be brighter than the source. Perhaps I'm being too analytical and too focused on the real world rather than the art of creating images. If so, I apologize; different people look for different things in the photographic process. ldavidson 4 Posted October 28, 2008 Turf, this is wonderful. This would make a great painting. I love it. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 29, 2008 A very striking picture. The abrupt transition between the blue sky breaking through above the windmill and the very warm hazy horizon seems a bit odd, as if you'd manufactured it in PhotoShop. If this is the real McCoy, maybe you should deemphasize that transition--in PhotoShop, natch. ;-) Link to comment
alight 0 Posted December 3, 2008 this photo has a big "wow!" effect due to the super-saturated colours. Sometimes high colour saturation doesn't work, but in this picture is creates "painting layers". Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
