The Call

Nice setup with a fine composition and colourscheme. You're on a right track here. What I am missing though and what could give this photo some more flavour, is a depth of field and perhaps a different kind of lighting. Evening is my favourite time for doing this like this, although in a street it might be too dark by then. I really like the angle though and you're really onto something.

And just an observation: for some reason it looks like the phone is manipulated in. Could this be a trick of lighting or did you really just photoshop it?

The shot was made in the afternoon but it was claudy so I used the flash.

I was not satisfied about the original color of the phone so I invert the colurs in PS trying to sugesting that is a negative call contrasting with the cheerful shoes.
