wogears 186 Posted October 24, 2008 Oooh! Can I catch the gorgeous bride when she falls over? And run out that gate with her? And never come back? Sorry. It's a really good shot, and the bride's expression is terrific, and we can see the flowers. BUT I just can't handle the 'tilt the camera' thing. It's going to be, like, sooooo dated. I'd also desaturate or correct her skin tone too. WB may be a bit yellow? Groom's lucky, though. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 24, 2008 I think just two things. People don't walk down the street with their head on an angle, so why should photographers? It is faddish and takes attention away from the subject. You need to get the colour balance right. I have included my version to illustrate the point. Cheers Peter Link to comment
mike_jenkins3 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Every photographer has their own style and if not a path is taken in which they'll end up getting there. Yes there's some color issues going on with the photo, but overall I think it's a good catch (one in which the couple should be proud to recieve). Link to comment
