wmhoodphoto 0 Posted October 19, 2008 I'm usually a "color guy" myself, but I was immediately drawn to this image. It really projects a sense of grandeur with waterfalls everywhere and the rays of light shining thru the mist. A most excellent image! Link to comment
sherry_nelson2 0 Posted October 20, 2008 If I could only get my wheelchair up there to view such beauty. I personally love black and white photography. To me it is the best. It has done great justice to this photograph and more! Color is good also, but black and white just gives a picture that umph! The photo is undescribed beauty! Great job! Sherry Link to comment
rbanfield 0 Posted October 20, 2008 This conversion really works! Nice detail in the shadows and some beautiful tonal ranges working here. The beams of light add to an already great shot. Kudos and this just made my favorite folio...RAY Link to comment

ndj 0 Posted October 22, 2008 Gorgeous shot Erik. Love the balanced composition with the 3 falls, and the shafts of light entering the scene are fabulous. Nice work. All the best,Neil Link to comment
kurt2006 0 Posted October 31, 2008 Erik, this is really a wonderful shot. Nothing is overdone as often happens with flowing water. You captured a nice level of detail in each gray shade, and I have to add that the subtle sunlight passing diagonally through the upper mist elevates the interest in the image substantially. For me, there would be temptation to try cloning the bits of tree UR and grass UL but these are minor items. Did Rick go with you on this trip? I'm sure he's jealous :) Great job. -Kurt Link to comment
thielges 0 Posted June 7, 2012 I don't normally care for the waterfall as subject but your photo captures this scene vividly. I feel like I'm there even though I see in color. Very nice choice of the vertical stack and the diagonal rays at the top engage the senses. Fantastic! Link to comment
