according to the approaching winter in the northern hemisphere I tried to do a little studio theme shot. this frame is the first I'd like to show you and ask for your honest opinion. do you like the crop, muted colors, lighting,...?

 

I'm not a professional shooter and truly admire all those wonderful portrait work here on PN, please support me with the one or other hint, that would be great.

Love it! His expression is wonderful... the soft light works for me, the faded colors, the contrast - all well done!!

The lighting, colour all works for me. Skin looks a little overly softened to be natural, ok if you were going for the artificial pure look though.

 

This photo makes me think of a deer in headlights at night, aww so sweet and innocent;)
