milena_safrova 0 Posted October 14, 2008 Larger view is better. Another attempt in panning. I would appreciate any comments, suggestions, advice. Thank you for your time Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted October 14, 2008 I have not tried panning before so can't really give much advise. I like this for its colours & abstact quality. Link to comment

milena_safrova 0 Posted October 14, 2008 Thank you, Cherlyn, Oskar, Beata and Photis, for your attention paid to my attempt in panning. I am glad that you find the photo interesting. Best regards Link to comment
gfkremer 0 Posted October 14, 2008 Very nice and great capture of color and texture. If I had to change anything, I would crop up from the bottom and right, keeping the wonderful splash of red in the upper left, but making for a more "square", and so, peaceful composition. I like this as is, too. Well done. Link to comment
milena_safrova 0 Posted October 15, 2008 Thank you, Kremer, for your attention paid to the picture and your suggestion. I agree with your idea to crop from the right - the strip with orange somehow "compete" with the nicely red leaves on the left. I will try that version and post it. Thanks and best regards Link to comment
milena_safrova 0 Posted October 15, 2008 I attach the suggested cropped version - I think it is better ... I loaded the cropped version as the main picture here, but it appears correctly only after clicking on the image to enlarge it Link to comment
mario2 0 Posted October 17, 2008 For my taste the square format and it compo works well as it,although I imagine that the original frame directly from camera too... about this beautiful capture, I love the soft and warm curtain of branches before this intense red.I would like to know what's the red thing...perhaps flowers? Thanks in advance Link to comment
milena_safrova 0 Posted October 17, 2008 Thank you, Mario, for your interest in this picture and your nice rating. I think both versions have something in themselves. The red things are leaves and in front of them is grass. The effect is achieved using panning. I checked your portfolio and have seen nice panning pictures there. Thanks and warm regards Link to comment
