Fall Colors Near Mt Rundle Alberta Canada

Late afternoon gave us the best colors, at the perfect time of year, and in the best

weather!

Hey, mate! Great image of such a wonderful icon of the Canadian Rockies. My love affair with photography pretty much started here in 1970! And what a terrific "snag" -- like an ancient bonsai!

I'll bet you went wild for this place! Put up some more, eh?

Technically, I would have preferred the snag, and the scale/reference point it creates, in another part of the frame. I would also prefer a tweak less exposure, or slightly more contrast, to deepen that great expanse of sky (it already shows some of that lovely "gradience", almost as though you'd burned in a bit of that top edge). But that's just an opinion from a "tweaker".

The image has a wonderful, "lifting", open, sunny feel that's just great as is! A really appealing sense of clarity, and essence of autumnal atmosphere.
