Please help to choose between two - which is better? Thanks.

I like them both, but this one, with the ears down is kind of cute. When my cats are in the ears down position it means they are plenty pissed!!

I also like them both, but I think the other one lacks something. It´s just too tight. The cat seems to be thinking, contemplating, looks better with some room around it. But the tight crop draws attention to its eyes.

 

OTOH there is something in the other shot that I really like, took me some time to realize what it was. It´s the position of the eyes, and IMO, they´re the most important part of the picture. In the other shot, they´re on upper third, directing the eyes to the bottom, and making them go round the picture, and then to the center again. In this shot, they are right in the middle, and the upper half of the picture (very interesting, with the ears down) gets less attention than it deserves.

 

I guess I like the other one better, but I also like the ears. Sorry, have no idea on how to fit them together.

 

The stripes are great! Without them, the shot would be interesting, with them, they are better still. And very thoughtfull caption.

There is so much to like about both. The subject is sharp, colors harmonious. The shadow stripes leaving the eyes showing is a very nice touch. That cat sure does look annoyed.
