Very good color, but crop is either too tight or not tight enough, IMO.

I'm happy with the cropping actually.I think I did it right in that its balanced, and the signs have enough lettersso you know what they say. I liked the three areas both horizontally and vertically. But Nathan's had to rent out part of their store to another owner, hence the distracting blue. Maybe it would be worth trying to mirror the right side over that other stand.

For some reason, I decided to take another look. I think I agree to some extent with Les. Despite the title you've used, to me the fact that this is Nathan's in Coney Island is more important than the dude at the counter.

 

I suspect that the top of the sign, including the rest of the name and the tops of the french fries, was cut off. If you're concerned about balance, assuming you saved the original, could you crop less from the top and take a bit from the bottom? I'm just curious, because I'm trying to learn as I go.

Nope, this one was cropped in the camera. All I did was change the angle slightly. The French fries I left out intentionally to keep your eyes from climbing up and out.

 

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
