fischerphotos 0 Posted October 23, 2008 Theodore, Thanks for your comment on my cat photo. You have a wonderful portfolio! The 600 is an awesome lens. It's perfect for birds (because you don't have to crop the photo). Some say it zooms in too far, (either the subject is too close or too far) but I disagree. It's perfect for my whitetail images. The 500mm sounds good for your African game shots. My dream is buying the Canon 100-400mm IS lens next summer. I got to shoot with it for one day and fell in love with it. I know people would suggest a prime like the 400 but I'm in love with zoom lens! Happy Shooting, Colton Link to comment
