The squirrel certainly does look fierce. See the fire in his eye? Actually that seems to be 'red-eye' and should probably be removed, if possible. I wonder what a good crop would do to bring him closer. I realize he is probably moving and so is somewhat blurred, but he would stand out more if he were somewhat sharper. He needs that sharpening if he is going to show up against the background that is almost the same color.

I think you had your focus on the leqves - looks like the animal is not sharp. Could be my monitor, though...
