aeaster 0 Posted November 10, 2008 Now on my old screen this looks a little too contrasty, the cloud highlights are solid white and the terrestrial parts are solid black. Oh well, most people today with digicams see that as the norm so I won't waste too much time trying to swim upstream or beat the dead horswe or whatever other metaphorical cliche you prefer. (Actually, the clouds aren't all that bad--I just have to pull on your chain for old time's sake.) But that composition is really wonderful Kellen. Your eye has snatched up a scene that works perfectly with the lanscape format. My highest regards to you old friend. Link to comment
kellen1 0 Posted November 12, 2008 hey hey you you get offa my cloud!! Nice to get your critique...your points are so true. I am rusty! The beauty of the Amish Farmlands of Pennsylvania really must be experienced first hand, but I enjoy posting and sharing what I humble-ly capture. Glad you like it. Link to comment
kellen1 0 Posted November 19, 2008 One of my photo friends told me once that "Black should be black and white should be white" so there I felt that contrast made kind of a dramatic statement out of this plain landscape. Link to comment
