The shame is that thumbnails don't attract attention, much less do justice to panoramas. I hope that others will check out this excellent image.

Terrific Picture!

My only peeve though is that it's too panoramic actulally. The way it's shot you get too many sections of the intersection, I think the shot would have stood better by cutting it in half, say, after the building on the corner. The people have terrific positions and it gives character to the scene. Anyway, lovely shot.

Just came back from a mall where some of the stores had their xmas displays out.. and now this!! But really, excellent image/scene.. can only imagine what it must look like on 220 film.. well exposed, you must have fired a few tests at different levels of dusk to get one this well balanced, kudos and happy holidays (I guess?)..

Bobby: It has an almost Dickensian feel to it. The grey day is offset by the warmth of the Christmas lighting and the light from the shops and homes.

How long a strip does it make and is it hard to get a scan made of such a strip?

It takes 3 360's on the 66" strip of 220 film. Basically it exposes the whole roll in one continuos shot but a single rotation is 16.5" long. This makes scanning a problem, I have a drum scanner but it's not big enough, So I use a flat bed and do the best I can with it. I have to scan one 360 in 3 6" sections then put it together.

Great shot. The computer screen doesn't do justice to this image - either too small or gets lost in the scrolling. I love the cold blue feel to it - which is broken by the warmer lights. The christmas ornaments all along the border adds a nice touch.

unsure of the decoration/lights running along the top of the photo.. can't decide if it ties the picture together or adds clutter.

I think this has to be one of my favorites here @ photo.net. I has an unexplainable romance for me. It reminds me of home. SEVENS

I very much like the string of lights that runs across the whole photo. Rarely can such continuity be shown in a panoramic -- let alone a 360 degree panoramic. This is a cool shot.

I also like all the people staring at you from each corner. Some of them look like they are about to beat you up, though.

That's Funny Because I am Three of them, I'm in the same shot 3 times with no Photoshop manipulation, This is only possible with a 360 camera.

This is just amazing what youve done here, really really nice work! How did you get the cars to get out of the way though???

Stephen There's Not much traffic in George Town, Especially New Years Day but I did have to wait until some car's cleared out and then you just gotta go for it and hope for the best, So I got one full rotation with no car's as the camera takes 3 full 360's in one shot.

Which are you? The all black clothes or the guy in light blue jeans? Talk about cloning. What are the chances of having this pair on 3 of 4 corners?

You can send me a money order $1200.00 to 1222 Pearl St. Denver, Colorado 80203 But I gota warn ya she's real temperamental this baby takes a few strategically placed pieces of duct tape after loading the film back in to the camera to operate properly.
