verna, i just love your portraiture. this is very unique and the subject was captured well. i was just wondering if that was a sunflare in the upper right hand corner. that area and the area where his shoulder is under his left eye are the only areas i find distracting. could they have been burned out? otherwise, very nice compostition.

What your seeing is the under photo showing thru

the overlay photo....none of the photos have lens

flare...just some of the difficulties of merging photos over photos....

I seem to recall rating the centre section of the shot in the past. While I do like what you have done here, I thought he other version stood up by itself.

 

Mayhe a superbowl ring or trophy could have been used on the LHS as the LHS of this shot seem to be where you you would represent where he is going based on the way he is facing.
