It is a 'natural' event but as I mentioned in the 'details' section for this image, the contrast and the overall saturation has been increased. It is a reflection of Fall colors in a wavy pond - a single image from my 70-300mm on my D300. There is so much color during the fall season in my area that one is searching for something a bit different. I was sitting on a rock contemplating what next to capture when I spotted this.

Carl: thanks for the kind words. Best regards also.

Jeff: I was felled by your remarks (*_*) and they have not fallen by the side. Best regards also.

Cynthia thanks for commenting _ I suppose they could be lily pads but in this case it was waves and reflections in the water.

Ahmet - good to hear from you/

John this has no liquid filter applied - colors were saturated and contrast increased. For what it is worth, I revisited the same spot yesterday and this scene basically did not exist anymore due to different wind and lighting conditions.

Hi Tony,

This is fascinating! When I saw this shot, I thought I would treat it like a photographic Monet. I moved back further and further away. The further I moved back the more alive it became!

This is in the same class as an impressionist shot that ChrisH(SoCalif) posted recently. That was a wonderful image and so is this!

Excellent work, my friend!

All the best,

Rob
