laurent-paul 1 Posted September 29, 2008 Thank you very much for your time and your feedback. The luckiest part of this photo : Not the man looking at his watch ( He was doing it quite a lot ), not the man on the left looking bored ( He has been like that for 10 minutes when the photo was taken ) : It was the dog who probably drank his master's coffee before going to the park ! But he was quiet enough at that precise moment. Vladimir : Of course you are right... In theory : The thing is : I stayed long enough to know that both were waiting for women. And men beeing late would have been a science fiction shot ( The last comment, of course is only in order to get a few more comments here ;-)) Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 29, 2008 Well, you are right Laurent, the only one patient here is the dog.... not looking at the watch.... not waiting to anybody, so probably ate good food before, and now , the only one looking at the photographer...;-)) As usual, great timing of human behavior.... well composed. godfather 0 Posted September 30, 2008 Never seen an coffee addicted dog, but now i have. I noticed the dog before i read your comment. You did a hell of a job with the composition because you wanted to get the dog there and that is the first thing that comes in to viewers mind after getting eyes out of the man who is sitting on the bench. So it's an really good moment and street shot Laurent. Warm regards. Link to comment
blue-olympus 0 Posted October 1, 2008 Great title enhancing a super b/w shot. I like the placement of the couple and the wooden frame surrounding the shot..Congrats. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 5, 2008 I find the background here dominating the photo. It is quite an amazing tapestry of texture and light. It provides a grand scale in which this scene unfolds. To me, what's going on is just life, somewhat everyday, but the environment gives it an iconic nature that makes it a kind of universal statement of those moments in-between. It was John Lennon who said, "life is what happens when you are busy making other plans." The way you have visualized and captured this scene expresses something along those lines. I feel you have focused on something greater or beyond here, not on these particular people. Link to comment
