tobiasfeltus 0 Posted September 26, 2008 As part of my ongoing series of portraits of artists, this was shot last summer in Alan Feltus' studio, on my half-home-made 5x7" camera. I was pleased with the limitation of the fact that I only had one darkslide to expose, and that one of the two was a good shot. I exposed this with a mixture of flash and available light, on Bulb. Incidentally it will be published in the October issue of Artist's Magazine, with an article on Alan Feltus. Any comments are welcome. Bests, Tobias Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 26, 2008 Beautifully done. You've approached this artistically and also captured the man in his element with very beautiful and dramatic lighting. Your attention to detail is evident. This is a nice composition, with the curve of his hands forming a strong central theme. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted September 26, 2008 Very well done, especially the emphasis on his right hand and eyes. Fine environmental portrait, well set up and processed. Link to comment
