frankl 6 Posted October 8, 2002 I found these Philodendron plants while i was out for a walk. I thought about composition with these leaves and got underneath them to backlight them and let the spiny veins show through. This photo is done in digital infrared and this coloration is how it comes out of my camera when shooting in color mode. Link to comment
stephanie_tomlinson 0 Posted October 8, 2002 What a striking photo! Since it a digital photo - you can play with it somewhat. The power lines are a little distracting. Other than that... wow.... nice work! Link to comment
wehavesam 0 Posted October 8, 2002 Don't see this angle too often! Maybe more of us should get under our subjects. Very different and inspiring. The power lines do distract a bit but you need to dig in before finding them. Link to comment
pete_treible 0 Posted October 9, 2002 Appealingly different. Too bad you couldn't lose those utility lines? Link to comment
erik_kowalewsky 0 Posted October 10, 2002 Crazy! Too bad about the power lines, though. Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted October 10, 2002 I think the power lines are fine. It looks like a scene from Antz or A Bug's Life. Spectacular and I love it! Link to comment
reasonsupreme 0 Posted October 10, 2002 i also favor the powerlines. love the effect infrared did for this. Link to comment
ferry_spaan 0 Posted October 10, 2002 I assume those black lines should be out of the picture? Nice photo though Link to comment
michael_mandel 0 Posted October 10, 2002 This presentation is a remarkably fresh look at things we see every day. It definitely merits a high rating. Link to comment
