mila1664882758 0 Posted October 13, 2008 This tiny spot of pines, planted in rows, has nothing spectacular. I've passed by many times on my way to Herisson (means "hedgehog" in French) cascades in Jura region, France. But that July morning the light coming through was quite nice and I tried to accentuate this magical transformation by using a zooming technique. Did I succeed? All comments and ratings are welcome. matthew hall 0 Posted October 13, 2008 I had to come and see your description to be sure it was a zooming technique, Very well executed, looks surreal, great effect not computer generated, this is what i like in photography, to be done with the camera and not with a mouse on a screen. Congratulations, keep it on. How did you stabilize the zoom for it not to tremble ? Link to comment
raybrizzi 0 Posted October 13, 2008 Yes, in looking through the thumbnails, I thought of the matrix. I never had good luck zooming for this effect, but this is an unusual shot in that only the highlights get zoomed. I get the impression that it might be a double or long exposure, one long shot to get the trees clear, followed by the zoom at the end. nice image. Link to comment

xavier_jamonet1 0 Posted November 6, 2008 Superbe! Chapeau! Bises Xavier Link to comment

mila1664882758 0 Posted November 12, 2008 Thanks to all for your time. It is a great pleasure to read your comments. I'll share with you a little secret. Firstly I've named this image "From the Dark Side". "Matrix" was given to it by Vincent Favre when he saw it for the first time. So since then it is "Matrix". Ludmila Link to comment
