v. bice 0 Posted October 7, 2002 My first impression of the left side of this photo photo is that light is from lens flair... but I have never had lens flair to this size...so it must be some feature you have added...not sure that it hurts nor helps this photo. Interesting posing here...I like the eyes lights..very good, good angle of the head....over all a very interesting photo....If it were my photo I would crop off the strange light effect to the left of the model....here head shot is enough to make a good photo without special effects. cakeller98 0 Posted October 7, 2002 Actually that's not lens flair, but rather glow from a soft light source. and she was moving, and frozen with a flah (slow sync) There was no compositing... and mostly it was the eyes that caught me. I'm thinking you might be completely right tho, about the left... it's kind of weak. I'll try a cropping of this (not completely, as that light ballances her somewhat, but... less might be better. cakeller98 0 Posted October 8, 2002 How could this be improved, assuming that this is the look I was trying to capture. What I mean to say is... I'm not looking for criticism on my choice of pose or expression, but rather on lighting, and composition, etc... technical details. Of course I can't stop anyone from writing whatever they want in their comments. Link to comment
