2002 Correfoc Mercè 4

Quite impressive and unusual, but it's just a bit tough to make up what this is. Seeing the face would have helped here, I guess, and maybe a tad more exposure... since the highlights are already white, nothing to lose there anymore... Regards.

I agree with Marc. But nevertheless, very interesting shot. And a nice effect too.

Thanks for your comments. I agree with them but it's very difficult to follow your advice. It's a dragon in a devils and fire beasts parade called "correfoc". As I use a 50 lens and this horrible beast is expelling fire It's difficult to choose too much technical details but its great fun taking pictures :)

This whole series of photos you've done on Correfoc is wonderful Elisabet. I like particularly how in each of these you have exposed these so the fire and sparks don't get overexposed and overwhelm the photos.

This is a powerful moment. Not sure what's going on (only looking at the picture) but not sure you need to. You can see the sparks spewing forth, and the person cowering away... this is a decisive moment for sure ;)... thanks for sharing

It looks like the man is hovering in space with the sparks as stars.

Maybe the contrast could be altered to add extra black,darkness.

I think the abstractness of this is great. Looks like a cosmic birth or something... lots of fun to look at.

In a way this photo makes feel like traveling through space observing at a very particular constellation. Having participated in fireworks like this one in Costa Rica, I get a perfect feeling of what's going on, even with the lack of details. I think this photo is exceptional.
