dmadden51 0 Posted October 8, 2002 Would have preferred a less drastic angle. Nice job of lighting and framing. Link to comment
seven 0 Posted October 8, 2002 Hi Wayne. I imagine you were drawn in by the textures, good aren't they. I might have tried shooting from farther back so one gets less of the sense of "looking up" at Victoria. Slight underexposure (or just the drabness of the day?) could be righted by software - e.g. Photoshop's levels or curves. Haven't been to Bath for ages, you've given me an idea. Cheers for now. marrio 0 Posted October 9, 2002 Hello David. I agree about the angle (also mentioned by Seven) and would have liked to be at eye level with Her Majesty. A couple of steps to the left might have centred the image a bit too. Thanks for your feedback. Hello Seven. I hope that you get a chance to jump on the motorway to Bath soon. I had a wonderful day walking around and taking the boat tour (more photos soon). This shot was taken whilst standing in the shadow of the building lit only by reflected light from the street below. I wish I could have been there at morning for an even more dramatic rendition of the textures by the angled light. Cheers. Link to comment
