tmcleland 0 Posted September 15, 2008 The newest panoramic. Please view larger (I wish I could show it even "larger-er"). Happy Monday, Everyone. Link to comment
petemillis 0 Posted September 15, 2008 Hi there. It's good to see a panoramic photograph - don't see many in the critique queue. I like the composition here, but the photograph seems a little dark/underexposed on my monitor (calibrated). This is particularly a problem in the middle of the picture where the trees seem very dark. Hope you don't mind, but I tok the liberty of doing a quick enhancement in Canon DPP, just to boost the combined RGB curve slightly, and ended up with this... (if your monitor isn't calibrated though I gues it might now seem too bright for you, but it should print better). Pete Link to comment
tmcleland 0 Posted September 15, 2008 No offense...really, it's okay...I only cried a little...you big meanie-head ;-) Just teasing. I always welcome suggestions and ideas. Funny that you mention the darkness; apparently I tend to favor slightly underexposed images when I'm processing my files. Granted, I never know what the file is going to look like on another monitor anyway, but I'm beginning to think I should do whatever I think is right then slide the "Exposure" slider up 1/3 or so in C1! In any case, glad you like the panoramic idea; there's more if you're interested. Thanks for the comment. Cya 'round PNET soon. Tim Link to comment
