VS, what did you have in mind for a border or frame that you'd find more pleasing. I need someway to attach my name to the image without obscuring the image itself. I thought this was just about as unobtrusive as it got and helped to unify the images when displayed on my main portfolio page.

Andrzej, there has been some curves work to raise the shadows here. But, it was minor compared to some other images. Can you say where you see this 'ghosting'? Is it around each of the tufa towers? I think you just seeing some effects of compression and sharpening from reducing to this small size. But, I might be missing something.

Obviously I have a problem re framing photos :-)

I undestand yourself for a signing photos. but from an observers point of view it would be better to see a whole photo (larger) than framed. Don't undesrstand me wrong, since I still learning composition and playing with light and colors your portfolio is quite valuable for me. You're doing great job.

Please ignore my remarks re frames/borders. Only what I want is to enjoy good photos full size. Wish you all the best and if you have time you're welcome to evaluate my work, too.
