Meal Time - Dig In

I would just like anyone's thoughts on this one. Any remarks for what I

could improve on or what you would suggest I continue with.

Interesting shot, but I have two suggestions.  The background is too busy.  Decrease your dof or reposition to eliminate the busyness.  Also, there is not enough detail in the main subject and it's too dark.  A fill flash or reflector might have helped.

The busy background does make it hard to appreciate this shot. I would think that macro would throw the background more out of focus than that. Or is this a crop from a larger photo? The bokeh, out of focus highlights, is also strange with those circular doughnuts. What lens were you using?
