photoneophyte 0 Posted October 3, 2002 Id love to hear comments. I wanted to crop more off center, but I also wanted the bird on the right. I didnt think it worked cropped off to the right like that. What do you think? Or am I just biased toward this photo because its at my cottage? Link to comment
werner.karl 0 Posted October 4, 2002 Forget the bird -- I didn't even notice it. Center of attention is clearly the bridge and horizon. You could cut of half of the top, can't see cutting of anything else working. I do like the shot (colors, softness/sharpness) and actually also the fact that the brigde has this little shift at the bottom. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted October 4, 2002 I agree about the bird, just a speck on my screen. But I like the pier coming out of the corner, and the dock in center position works well. The pier also leads my eye across the water and through the gap between the peninsulas. Moody monochromatics. The pier is a bit hot at the end but seems to provide some contrast to the silouetted verticals. A fine relaxing shot. Link to comment
miguelangelhoyas 0 Posted October 4, 2002 I agree you could crop the top over the horizon. Great moody. The bird can save his life if were with a couple of friends and were biggers ;-) Link to comment
justthings 0 Posted October 5, 2002 I like the simplicity of this; a corp of the righside to eliminate the bird will remove that distraction while not compromising the composition - you'll lose a little size but thats ok. Link to comment
