Torridon Dreaming

ian cameron

Torridon Wester Ross, Scotland.Although the rest of the day had already proved fruitful this is most assuredly the piece de resistance. A furious little squall had blown in across the Torridons plastering a little more snow on the peaks and then just as suddenly cleared allowing the setting sun to scythe peach coloured light across the loch below glowering clouds. It was beyond stunning and I felt most fortunate to be alone in this sublime setting recording a perfect end to a superb day.Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, 4 stop ND fiter, 0.45ND grad, f/22 at 20 sec's, Velvia.NEW!! Hello Ian,

A serene beauty pervades the image. And a very good composition. Moderate use of contrast contributes to the beauty.

Definitely Scotland has a lot of interesting places. Just came back from Edinburg, visited during the festival...

Although the colors are very nice, there is a spinkish hue I am not sure about - perhaps a bit too much?

What do you think, yourself?

Regards

Peter
