david morgan 0 Posted September 7, 2008 I enjoy old woodland such as this with the gnarled trees and thick moss covering the ground. This is very natural and a perfect capture of a british woodland scene. Link to comment
anhaga 0 Posted September 7, 2008 Not mind-blowing, but very solid compositionally and with soft even lighting. Purely as interest, do you know which direction the stream is running in? I'm just seeing this in the early morning/late evening, with some smooth warm light perhaps filtering through those far gaps in the tree cover. Couple that with some mist, and that'd be more of a gobsmacker... Glad to see you're still posting here - and hope you're still enjoying the house move, and the new territory it must have opened up...! James Link to comment

gary_mcghee 0 Posted September 7, 2008 very nice adam, the smooth water contrast very nicely with the surrounding woodland and rocks. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted September 7, 2008 This is pretty much 'mind-blowing' to me! I can really only think of one or two spots in the United States where you could find a scene like this (e.g., Olympic National Park); it is very otherworldly, like out of a fantasy tale. Beautiful composition, and your exposure looks just spot-on, Adam. I think I would enjoy just looking at this for hours on end. Well done! Cheers! Chris Link to comment

anhaga 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Adam, Sorry, I wasn't clear enough in my question - I was wondering more about the compass direction - i.e. is there any chance that during early or late hours, the sun would be looking in through the top left? Cheers, J Link to comment
philippealbanel 0 Posted September 26, 2008 I used to see your last work on your site. I must say that your last series on rivers and forest are excellent. I was a little bit surprise to see your photos cause you exlpore new subjects. But one more time your excellent vision of light make miracles. Then as for seascape you make this little part of forest something very attractive and impressive. Colours sharpness is perfect. Thanks a lot for sharing with usPhil Philippe Albanel Photography Link to comment
camilo.margeli 1 Posted September 28, 2008 Fantastic result on the water. Usually is more usual take photos on the other direction of the flow, but in this case I like very much the result. Regards. Link to comment
