sergey-afanasyev 0 Posted September 11, 2008 what a wonderful mood does this photo produce. I also like the caption of this work - very clever indeed! Link to comment
daily_photograph 0 Posted September 11, 2008 You couldnt place a better fitting picture above this title :-)) The "ropy" trees in the bg do a lot! Link to comment
PeterKrenek 26 Posted September 11, 2008 Sergey, Daily, thank you. Took me a while to produce the title, glad it works... Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted September 25, 2008 I wouldn't want to have to cross this. I must say this is a great looking scan on Provia. Very clean. Link to comment
PeterKrenek 26 Posted September 25, 2008 Thank you David. This was scanned on a Nikon CoolScan 8000. I would not try crossing this place either. This is a barrier at the old branch of the Danube river, about 400 m wide and the level difference is about 10 m on rather short distance. It was designed to divert more water to the Hungarian side. carsten_ranke 0 Posted October 19, 2008 Perfect exposure, and great color palette ! Well thought the high horizon. Would be perfect with less bright sky, IMO Link to comment
PeterKrenek 26 Posted October 20, 2008 Thank you, Carsten. Depending on the monitor, the sky might look too bright. On the sky, Photoshop reads R:196, G: 217, B:226, so not yet overexposed. The previous scan on this was blow out (minilab), with CoolScan it is better. I have to say, examining this and other slides, that Provia 100F is much more forgiving with respect to exposure problems than Velvia 100F. Link to comment
