connealy 0 Posted October 3, 2002 Wonderful contrasts, textures and color combined with a powerful graphic design. Link to comment
steve_patterson 0 Posted October 3, 2002 Dark, brooding & wonderful, with terrific mood and texture. The rough wall against the smooth skin and the surprise sensuality of the lips are great. I just love this image. Link to comment
ricardojmendez 0 Posted October 4, 2002 I like it! Just off-center enough to add some imbalance, subtle but almost alien lighting and good detail, even in the dark cloth. Was it hand coloured, or did you just use coloured light sources? Link to comment
mg 0 Posted October 6, 2002 I already wrote a comment about this imahe yesterday, but the computer hang half way... Fated...:-)Anyway, I like it a lot. It's a powerful image, really. A few small things aesthetically though... 1) I'd suggest you burn the background near the edges, in order to leave a brighter circle only behind the head and a bit above... 2) I suggest you desaturate the colors slightly. On the background, just a tad, and a bit more desaturation on the chest. Otherwise very good, an very original. Regards. Link to comment

charodiez 0 Posted February 12, 2003 I keep looking at the lips to guess what the eyes are like. Very, very interesting. The best in this portfolio. Link to comment
chris_hawkins 0 Posted February 13, 2003 It doesn't do a thing for me, but I'm obviously in the minority. The background is cool though. Link to comment
antoine huts - photographi 0 Posted February 14, 2003 very mysterious and appealing, nice work. just a little too off-centre in my opinion. Link to comment
tholte 16,957 Posted February 22, 2003 I was attracted to the lovely colors and composition. Everything works except that I think it is essential in a fine art portrait to see at least one provactive eye. I would have gone from a 5 to a 7 if that was present here. Link to comment
