dseltzer 0 Posted September 7, 2008 A moment from the 2008 Labor Day Fireworks in Cincinnati, OH. I was surprised at the light-gathering ability of the lens *and* the sensor. Even at f-16 and ISO 100, this was only a 5.7s exposure. More time would blow out the centers and wipe out the detail of the spreading rays. This image, as well as all others in this series, are all but straight from the camera. CS3 Smart Sharpen filter, and levels for luminance, were the only filters or adjustments of any kind. So, given what you see, and what I've described, I'd like to know your thoughts about this image; its strengths, weaknesses, Suggestions of what to do, or maybe what not to do! are invited and welcome.
