ken_howard1 0 Posted October 1, 2002 I fiddled with this photo quite a bit - could not decide wheather to have the shoulders included or not. Would love to know your thoughts. Link to comment
josepmiro 0 Posted October 1, 2002 It's difficult to decide if it's better with the shoulders or without. Perhaps it's better with them... I like the sharpness due to the big depth of field. I think it would have been better to paint the stair totally black Link to comment
steve_strawn 0 Posted October 1, 2002 I thought it was fun without the shoulders, just a couple legs floating out there in space. Link to comment
alex_khakhalev 0 Posted October 2, 2002 I agree with Steve - just legs. 10 or whatever it is nowdays for Originality. Link to comment
joseph_davidchik1 0 Posted October 2, 2002 I actually think the shoulders work, but if it would be nicer if they were more relaxed. Aside from that. Great image. Good contrast. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted October 2, 2002 I think the shoulders add femininity, as the legs in themselves aren't terribly sexy. Although I guess they might be to a guy! The stair (?) looks a bit slanted and the vertical line in it is distracting. Perhaps you could clone that out, but I think making it totally black would lose the depth and it would look like she was sitting on a rod (ouch) Maybe the solution to the dilemma is to have one shot with the shoulders and one without. vladimir_ravkin 0 Posted October 2, 2002 I would think totally black background would be better. The step is a distraction, especially the white strip. The photo is striking and original. Link to comment
hadap 0 Posted October 3, 2002 Shoulders are great (needed), but the texture in the bottom strip doesn't work for me. Link to comment
robert_m._stein 0 Posted October 3, 2002 What a lovely picture. You got it just right. It has it all - sex, humour and gesture. Nice job, Ken. Link to comment
anders_fredrickson 0 Posted October 6, 2002 I like the shoulders on the top. The diamond necklace makes it feel like a commercial, but something around the neck definately makes sense. The carpet texture is unattractive, especially the seam in the middle, but all black doesn't look good (tried it in PS). Not sure what would have worked better. I like the silver strip she's sitting on, though. Cool photo Link to comment
orlando_s. 0 Posted October 11, 2002 I like the shoulders in it. It gives me something to attach the legs too. Without them, the legs look creepy :) Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted February 29, 2004 I vote to keep the shoulders but change what she is sitting on. The line in the step is very distracting. Otherwise, great pose great legs and funky shoes all work together. Link to comment
