I love paris and this Cathedral. Well composed and moody. Is it a little too dark? I would like to see maybe a touch more detail in the cathedral, but the riverboat is spot on. If you shot this raw, maybe you could process twice and layer with Photoshop. Still, it is quite an outstanding image and beyond my talent, I must say...

Mike, I think you are right. I was undecided actually about raising slightly a couple of zones, especially in the lower-left corner. I decided not to, but the more I look at it, the more I change my mind. The cathedral instead is in fact rich of detail, it is mainly a matter of image size if they are not enough apparent... I think I will raise a bit my standard image size from the current 800 pixel on the long side... Thanks! L.

actually I like the dark mood. I see no reason to change it because I've seen this so many times to know it's what's there.

Updated with a new version, 100 pix larger (my new standard) and a very slight exposure increase on the pier in front of the boat, just to make it barely visible. The lower-left corner was just a tad too dark for me. L.

Luca, it is absolutely gorgeous and would be hanging on my wall next to pictures of my other favorite cities. Excellent work now.
